At Touchdown Tacticians, we’ve developed an exciting and easy-to-understand Balls System for fantasy football scoring. This system rewards you for making smart picks, setting your lineup correctly, and managing your team throughout the season. Here’s how it works:

1. Main Evaluation Criteria

Your fantasy football points are determined by individual player actions and team results. Here’s a breakdown:

  • Individual Performance
    • Touchdown: +6 points
    • Assist: +4 points
    • Played 60+ minutes: +2 points
    • Clean Sheet (for goalkeepers/defenders): +4 points
    • Goalkeeper Save: +1 point for every 3 saves
    • Missed Penalty Kick: -2 points
    • Own Goal: -2 points
    • Yellow Card: -1 point
    • Red Card: -3 points
  • Team Performance
    • Team Win (player participates for 60+ minutes): +3 points
    • Team Draw: +1 point
    • Team Loss: 0 points
  • Captain’s Bonus
    • Double the points for your captain each week. Choose wisely!

2. Bonuses for Special Achievements

Earn extra points for extraordinary performances:

  • Best Player of the Match: +5 points
  • Game-Winning Play: +3 points
  • Hat-Trick: +6 bonus points
  • More Than 5 Goalkeeper Saves: +3 points
  • Player Efficiency Rating (based on OPTA or similar data):
    • Rating 7.5–8.0: +1 point
    • Rating 8.1–8.5: +2 points
    • Rating 8.6+: +3 points

3. Penalties

Certain actions lead to point deductions:

  • Conceded Goals (for goalkeepers/defenders): -1 point per goal
  • Penalty Caused: -3 points
